If someone said to you, we want you to take an incredibly powerful spaceship out, with no chance of ever coming back, but you could take pretty much anything on it you wanted (within logistical reason), would you go?

I often wonder if, when you consider the relative insignificance we have in the universe, are we part of something bigger? Is Earth the equivalent of an atom in a greater being?
