Preseason 2021

Urgh, not what we need in pre-season whilst fighting our pre-pre-pre-qualifying-intertoto-pre-Europa Vanarama Johnstone's Paint Trophy campaign.

F*ck both of those teams, right in the mind.
 
Wonder whether we'll have a new manager in in-time for those games or it'll still be Mason....

We can get to see whether our young players are as good as theirs.
 
Imagine if a manager got the sort of pre-season they'd like. The type that, you know, would actually help the team prepare for the next season. Like 3 nearby away matches against Gillingham, Leyton Orient and Ipswich; with no tv cameras. Put a bit of money in down the pyramid too. Those were the days.

Well, thank the fans .. they made such a fuss about ESL, the three clubs decided they needed to do an appeasement/PR play regardless of your point, probably not best for pre-season.

A couple of half paced, third of a team friendlies?…. Will be the same as any preseason without the travel.

At present, due to COVID-19 related restrictions, there is no provision for away supporters to attend either match. However, should that situation change and an away allocation be permitted we shall communicate details in due course.

Well, hopefully home will take full allocation (to whatever is allowed)

We could always do what we did against Marine. Pretty sure I bought a virtual ticket for that one (although I have had a drink :D)
