Come on you Spurs.....!!!
After a long wait, and a preference for behind closed door games, this is our first official pre-season friendly for the 2015/26 season. Come on!!
We'll probably see most of the available squad get a run-up. I can't see an official squad, but looking around at injuries, players away on international duty, potential transfers away etc. it might be:
Goalkeepers: Michel Vorm, Luke McGee
Defenders: Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Federico Fazio, Kevin Wimmer, Danny Rose, Ben Davies, DeAndre Yedlin
Midfielders: Nabil Bentaleb, Mousa Dembele, Harry Winks, Christian Eriksen, Nacer Chadli, Andros Townsend, Tom Carroll, Dele Alli
Forwards: Harry Kane, Shaquille Coulthirst
Oddly, it seems Soldado is on a flight to Ibiza, so possibly not in the squad.
MLS All-Stars Squad:
GK David Ousted (Vancouver Whitecaps)
GK Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)
DF DaMarcus Beasley (Houston Dynamo)
DF Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake)
DF Matt Besler (Sporting Kansas City)
DF Laurent Ciman (Montreal Impact)
DF Omar Gonzalez (LA Galaxy)
DF Chad Marshall (Seattle Sounders)
DF Drew Moor (Colorado Rapids)
DF Chris Tierney (New England Revolution)
MF Michael Bradley (Toronto FC)
MF Fabián Castillo (FC Dallas)
MF Benny Feilhaber (Sporting Kansas City)
MF Steven Gerrard (LA Galaxy)[c]
MF Kaká (Orlando City SC)
MF Dax McCarty (New York Red Bulls)[c][e]
MF Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City)
FW Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC)
FW Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC)
FW Kei Kamara (Columbus Crew)
FW Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy)
FW David Villa (New York City FC)
FW Obafemi Martins (Seattle Sounders FC)

Even though it's a friendly it will be an interesting game to compare our squad with the "best" of MLS. If nothing else we'll get to see players fitness levels, and if anyone's been excessively hitting the gym (or hotel buffet) during the holidays.
New signings Trippier, Alderweireld and Wimmer are pretty much certain to all feature, whilst Yedlin might get a rare run-out which would be nice to see.
From a Spurs perspective it would be good to see some motivated performances and see who's determined to show Pochettino they deserve a first team place. A few goals would be nice too.
As the MLS season started back in March they should have a fitness advantage and make it a tough game, but conversely most of their squad played last weekend and won't want to risk injury.
Hopefully Gerrard will slip over and some point, leading to a goal conceded.
COYS!!

Soldado in Ibiza?
Harry Kane arrives...
Chadli and Vorm contemplate new male grooming techniques...
Some Americans are very happy....
Robbie Keane says it's a "big deal", and the MLS All-Stars were always his boyhood club...
