Under the stars on Waiheke Island. We both pulled a sickie, wondered around the island, went to a winery and had a spendid meal. We needed to catch a ferry back to Auckland but the missus decided she wanted the cheese board. We missed the ferry and had to wait around for a while. I didn't have a ring but it just felt right. We were on a little pebble beach by the ferry port and I asked her there.
