Postercoglu's team talk "well lads anyone want to play Wednesday? The miserable g i ts on GG have written us off so you won't have to do much to make them happy, anyone who does play remember to make as many mistakes as you can and don't try to score and finally I don't want a clean sheet"

I very much doubt they are poor :D

Maybe Ange will mix things up a bit and try Maddison as the wide left attacker, enabling 3 tacklers in midfield.

This is actually a big game for our club. Even if we lose, its a chance to give a good account of ourselves. If we win, it will invoke some belief back in the team.

This fixture last season was a sad indictment of how far we are behind City. We lost by the odd goal, but it should have been by a cricket score but for their poor finishing.

Not sure I agree (even if we are far behind them), it was a poor game by both sides (from what I recall), City went man to man to adjust against us, we didn't cope but in the end they had to foul the keeper to get a set piece goal (which has led to a year of stupid referee decisions that still continue)

Pep is going to play a decent side, anyone who thinks different is fooling themselves.

It's a game for Ange to put out a decent side, and for the boys to put in a decent performance.

Yeah, i was at that Cup game in January and it was very close. If not for them having Walker i actually think we would have won (we got in behind them into space a couple of key times but he made great sprints to make a couple of great last-ditch tackles to save them).

And don't get me started on Vicario fouling (and NONE of our players trying to fight fire with fire to offer some protection, i'm still tinkled off about that more than the ref now!)
