But how will the players / coaching staff get credit for almost rescuing a result if they don't promptly throw it away in the first 20 minutes?
 
Will not be watching. Not because I don't give a fudge (otherwise occupied), but I also don't give a fudge.
 
I'd be happy if we could manage to concede less than 3 goals in the first 15 minutes. That would be real progress.

A well organised Hodgson side isn't exactly our ideal opposition so I'll go for 2-2 or 3-3.

Upside is that at 5pm we'll be 1 match closer to next season

Im looking forward to this - dead rubber with the handbrake off. Maybe we'll play with some intent and creativity for the first time in 3.5 years
