Always good to see which Palace stars enjoy playing at our stadium the most. Be great to see 3 or 4 of them in our squad.

Agree with the sentiment that this will be like a pre-season game. That is, until we play Villa and they will be their normal over-physical selves.

I would imagine both team will be trying to avoid picking up any injuries, could be like a pre season friendly.
perhaps, not sure if palace has bonuses related how high they end, but i think the players will be motivated to end in the top half of the table
ours on the other hand - its all about the cup final

Send the U21s to Villa for this reason

Kinsky
Spence, Danso, Davies, Reggie
Sarr, Gray, Hall
Johnson, Scarlett, Moore

Sonny to get some minutes in his legs if able.

Play a mix of the youngsters and the ladies team. Everyone in contention for playing in the final should be home, wrapped in cotton and bubble wrap!

So we've already got the £7m for being in the EL final. Winning would give us an extra £4m.

However, winning this weekend would take us up the league by 3 or 4 places. That's worth a lot more if we can retain 13th place.

Be nice to ruin Villa's season as well in the next one.

We'll have bonuses too, but it will be all about the cup final for us and all about their cup final for them.

No, some need a run out to get form and fitness, especially Kulu. A mixture of resting and protecting certain players and giving those that need the minutes a run out without over doing it.

A good atmosphere and a win in the cup along with a decent pay rise and suddenly we become very attractive to some of Palaces stars.

Except you're not factoring in the revenue from being in the Champions League next season. That dwarves the revenue from a couple of league places.

Are they really that good though? It's not like Palace are tearing up the league, just nicely seated in their usual 11th to 14th spot with a very 90s Spurs like record of W11D13L11 GD -4. Easy for someone to get some nice highlights on MOTD every now and then while disappearing in all the other matches.

We've spent enough on mid table standouts in the last couple of years without them really stepping up.

They've some really good players, Guehi, Sarr, Eze, and Wharton, with some not so good. Wharton is going to be a top class player and would immediately become our no 6.

Villa have got a bit lucky with United and us in their final games.

Must admit I'm always sceptical about players stepping up as it were when they move to clubs like us, villa or even Everton.
One or two sprinkled in the squad as good back up or rotation wouldn't go wrong.
