Anyone got a steam deck? Thinking of investing for travels but not sure which one to get, loads out there.

Not the reply you wanted because I’ve never had one but my friend does.

I struggle to see the appeal. Laptops don’t take that much more space and can be decent at half the price + more convenient to use?

Do you play FM? Interested to know how it performs under pressure… also is it as conventions to use as a mouse and keyboard?

Fair play if it works for you!

No not played FM in years TBH. Well its interesting as the who system has an integration tool called Armory Crate which helps you set games up so it runs from PS5 and Xbox to PC and the controls move over seamlessly. You also get 3 months free for Xbox gaming so I have just got 90% through the Indiana Jones game and the performance was high. I am now revisiting Far Cry 6 and next will be The Last of Us 2.

So far no issues and the system also has quick keys so you can switch between 3/4 performance modes incase you need to get more out the handheld for more complex games

All in all I have been massively impressed
