No Water at my flat - over 24 hours now

Alright dudes,

yesterday plumbers at our flats fudged up the pipes and blew something, so they had to glue some pipes and said that it would take 24 hours to set. The plumbers came back today and apparently fixed it but we are all still without water. Does anyone know if we can claim against our property managers or get some compensation? I mean to be without water for 24+ hours is not on and im sure it is illegal!!! anyone shed some light on this?

I cant shower, cant drink and use the toilet. There are about 100 flats where I live and everyone is in the same boat!!

I reckon the least that you would hope for is drinking water to be supplied, that is what Water companies do when a pipe blows and it takes time to repair.

When the plumbing for my dad's flat was fudged up, the landlord gave us a hotel room in the Holiday Inn up the road for showering etc.

Yeh sorry dudes, had water later saturday night but still was well over 24 hours!

our management company are awful. OM Property (formerly Peverel) are one of the worst in Britain. I pay £1500 a year for their service and its ridiculous.
