I'm sure this has come up at some point before however, given the shower of sh1te ManUre are at the moment, I looked up how much they'd spent recently. Net spend over the last 5 years is £300m!!!

If we're willing to go over zero net spend for a player our manager wants, I'm happy. Ergo, I'm happy we're willing to do that now, whatever our actual circumstances.

And the corollary is if they produced an income-from-transfers table over the same period we'd top that - at £291,350,000.

Look at the wages at the likes of Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Sunderland, Villa, Everton. Their fans still have the gall to demand new owners with ambition (ie. more transfer spend).

Arsenal must have handed out some (more) ridiculous pay rises as they barely sign new players.
