Interesting interview, well worth a watch. Hugely talented midfielder but because he was playing with people like Hoddle and Ardiles never really got much publicity (apart from a match when I recall he had to go off because one of his contact lenses came out). Farage should have asked him to comment on the current team's midfield creativity.....

Very underated as a player ( imo) it did not help him to have players like Hoddle, Ossie etc playing in the same posistion in the team. A great lad as well i actually got into his cab one night and started talking about Spurs, well he ended up pulling over to the kerb and we spent ages just talking about the great nights in the uefa cup. great guy.
