Laptop for Design/Development.

Quick brief: I am in need of a new laptop.

Being a web designer/developer I predominantly use Adobe CS, multiple browsers, several IDEs all at one time.. I need something that can handle all these processes at once, but I also need something portable, as I'm often travelling from client to client.

I also like to do some video editing when I can.

Any awesome tech nerds on here able to assist?

im thinking a dell xps 13.

13" full hd display, 8gig ram, core i7, 256gig solid state drive.

they produce a developers edition that comes equipped with Ubuntu, fudge windows.

can anyone think of an alternative?

Got to be a Mac. 15" MacBook Pro would be ideal.

If you're doing design, I'm reliably informed by my sister that everyone uses a Mac.

As for web development, it doesn't matter. All you need is notepad.
