If we get 4th place in the Prem and West Ham go on to win the Europa league would we miss out on champions league football as they would qualify for the champions league by winning the europa league? Or can 5 english teams be in the champions league next season?

5 teams can go into cl. So you'd need both the cl and el winners to finish outside top 4, for 4th to not qualify.

It would be kind of moot anyway as in order for Chelsea to win the CL and finish outside the top 4 they would most likely be 5th behind us in 3rd and Arsenal in 4th, or the other way round.

Even if they went into administration they wouldn't get a points deduction. As it is due to circumstances beyond their control (the only reason you can use to appeal a points deduction for going into administration).

Lets just concentrate on getting top 4 and worry about unfriendly dieties another time.

It’s flipping around every tens days or so, yes we are the only team in the top half with a manager who isn’t a fudging macaron and we have the best two players in the league but we also have s pur sy to deal with. On paper we should walk it, but we won’t.

5 teams can qualify for the CL

So the only way is WHam winning EL and Chelsea winning CL and both being outside top 4.....so it would be those two and 1,2, and 3 from the PL places. 4th misses out
