How many goals have we scored from crosses this season? It seems to be quite a few from recollection.
[USER was banned for this post]But it gets debated in nearly every OMT (my apologies if you don't read those) and invariably ends up with scara going on a banning rampage*

I for one love watching scaramanga on the rampage, one week it's going to on nature's weirdest, I'm sure of it.But it gets debated in nearly every OMT (my apologies if you don't read those) and invariably ends up with scara going on a banning rampage*

Might just be that we're crossing a lot more.Despite the grumbles of conversation being had prior ..
I'm sure someone can dig up the stat, but I'd agree anecdotally that it would seem so, specifically
- More goals from crosses, especially headed goals (can think of Harry, Dele, Davies, Eriksen).
Simply think its a maturing of Poch's system, we have Harry, Dele and recently Erikson making themselves available in box, we have Rose, Walker, Trippier, Eriksen & Sissoko all capable of delivering consistent balls into the box.

Crosses are something like a 1 in 20 - 1 in 30 chance of scoring. If we're putting in 20-30 crosses a match then we're likely to score roughly one a match.
It would be interesting to see what types of attacks yields the most goals, which types of attacks are the most effective and so on, in the Premier League (not to mention how the various types of attacks are classified).
Also, it might be that crossing has a low scoring output in general, and I guess it's a question of what defines a cross (or a failed cross - does a failed cross have to end with a shot not going in, or could it be just a stray long ball?), but considering we've scored 10 or so goals from crosses over only the past 4-5 games, I'd say we'd be stupid not to continue trying to score goals from crossing in our coming matches, as we're clearly scoring goals from them, and very likely at a much higher rate than the average.
53. More or less (probably less). How many goals have we scored from crosses this season? It seems to be quite a few from recollection.

Through balls into the box yield a goal in roughly every 5 attempts if memory serves.Passing yields something like a 1 in 20 - 1 in 30 chance of scoring. If we're putting in 20-30 passing moves per match then we're likely to score roughly one a match
I find that very hard to believe. Each team could score 5 goals per game if that were so.Through balls into the box yield a goal in roughly every 5 attempts if memory serves.

There's a reason why high cross volume teams tend to finish toward the bottom of the league and high through ball volume teams tend to finish toward the top.
Re the change, I just think we have a couple more people who provide decent crosses now and our CM's support Kane more with runs to be on the end of it.
