Geek Corner: Syncing iPhone/iPad from a NAS drive w/ iTunes server

So just asking if anyone has done this. I have a NAS drive set up and it has an iTunes server on it. I am downloading music onto the NAS drive, and it shows up on any machine on my network on iTunes as a shared library.

I want all my music to be centrally stored like this. My question is, any ideas how to then sync this music from my NAS to my iPhone or iPad?
