Just been watching some of the Corinthians against sao paulo and they are talking of him coming on in the second half, looked like quite a good player and with his stock fallen maybe we could get him if bale did leave.

No, you are obviously judging him on one game, bad idea. I have heard Tim Vickery talk about him on a number of occasions. He ain't worth it. Vickery is arguably the best British pundit on South American football and is also a Spurs fan
 
I haven't seen him much, and the last time was a couple of years back, but he doesn't striker me as an AVB type player at all. We're seemingly trying to build a team with a lot of athleticism that can press and function as a unit without passengers defensively.

I listen to the BBC World Football Podcast every week where he is a regular contributor. He has admitted there several times and also on Talksport. It is no secret as he has talked about being a Spurs fan loads of time
