I know we are not playing very well have not for a few months excluding the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game. But i really do feel we are lucky to be alive and healthy it was only a few days we saw a guy nearly lose his life right infront of us.

Of course it would have been nice to see us do well and get into the top 4 again, personally i prefer the attacking football over results though that seems to be lacking at the moment as well. But i think we should all just take some time to remember it is only a game and that things are going a bit bad at the moment but once the redknapp sitaution is resolved we will move forward again.

Come on You Spurs.

I think that mode of thinking was always going to be limited to when the next game came up.
 
Bunch of over paid tacos. Just went and sat with my little 6 month old son whose sound asleep. Much more important.

Funny cos THFC were my life once definitely more about my family nowadays.
 
May not be the most important thing, but it's clearly pretty important to all of us, or we wouldn't be on a Spurs forum. Therefore... fudge off Spurs and Stoke you ****s

I agree with this.

If GHod (or whatever higher power is up there) gave me the option to not give a fudge about spurs i'd take it in a heartbeat. These bottle job, weak, overpaid, gutless, cowards who freeze at the first sign of danger and are led by a man that would rather be in another job don't deserve my Love. My family deserve my love, my friends deserve my love (well most), my girl deserves my love. These flashy good for nothing tacos can go choke on a 12 inch mandingo ****.

Once you have a family your priorities change and you realise what really is important. I still get stressy and can be in a foul mood for a bit but no where near like I use to be when I was younger. What happened Saturday has strengthened my feelings on what is important.
I also think that older/long term supporters are more relaxed and realistic. We've seen all the ups and downs and don't expect too much.

Exactly. Although not an 'older' member this is my 20th season supporting Spurs having started in the first season of the premiership aged 8. Not that I am not as passionate as I once were because I am but, as you say, I can brush it off a lot easier than when I was younger. I smashed a front room window, broke a computer and broke my finger when I was younger after defeats I had a right temper on me.

I can still be tinkled off with the last set of results and performances just because my family matter more.
 
I'm all for positivity, but no win in 4 when chasing third (at least) gives the fans the right to have a rant. Doesn't mean we won't get behind the side, but they know full well it's not good enough.
 
My first kid was born on Monday evening after a few scary moments so yes, some time things happen in life which does alter your focus slightly
