Fixture & Ticket News 2020/21

Considering that tickets probably won’t be available to members during the coming season I’d imagine they’re having a re think of member packages and prising.
Email from the club -
"Please be advised that your One Hotspur Membership will automatically renew for the 2020/21 season.
Please find details of your direct debit payment which will be collected from your registered bank account on or just after Monday 24th August."

Only a regular member (not +), same price as last year. Members' loyalty points are irrelevant these days so there's no point in renewing just to retain loyalty points. The main benefit of being a member last season was for the chance to get in the queue for a ticket. It seems highly unlikely that members will have access to any tickets this season so I really can't see the incentive to renew.

Handy if you need to get one off the exchange?

What are these loyalty points you talk of? .......it's all about the ticketing points these days:D

Yeah, I cancelled* my 2 memberships yesterday

*You have to go through hoops and contact the club and then they just say "if you want to cancel your [and your son's] memberships, just cancel the direct debit with your bank, so we cannot take the money from you". I don't have a direct debit listed on my bank app, so i assume they cannot scrape the money out of my account any other way.

Cheers for that info, just cancelled mine. Ridiculous they charge the same price for renewal when there's zero chance of attending a game next season - their points mean nothing for members now anyway. Only real benefit to being a member is being able to acccess ticket exchange - will re-join when stadiums open back up.

So well done the FA.

Should we progress to the EL 3rd Qualifying Round, we have to play it in the same midweek as the 3rd round of the League Cup

And then possibly same again the following weekend.

Spurs stitched up for a change

edit: Apologies, just seen already well covered in another thread

I cancelled my Hotspur+ direct debit with the bank. just into lockdown and off the back of 5 defeats on the trot! (and the promise of zero exciting signings to promote a modicum of optimism)

As said above, it was purely for ticket exchange access anyway. But I had noticed that as we were getting more and more unwatchable, tickets were becoming readily available on general sale as well! (which you only need to be registered for).

Given the early-season fixture congestion, I'd say that the list is quite good for us. Absent EL commitments, we'd hope to be in a reasonable position after say 8-10 games

The run-in isnt too bad either, though never easy to predict how some like Wolves, Sheff U and Leicester will follow-up a great season for them

The tough parts looks November into December and then late Jan into Feb time

November

21: Emirates Marketing Project (h)

28: Chelsea (a)

December

5: Arsenal (h)

12: Crystal Palace (a)

16: Liverpool (a)

19: Leicester (h)

26: Wolves (a)

That portion of the fixture list is horrid [emoji15][emoji30]

The end of season looks relatively friendly.

I'm happy that the beginning is rather gentle considering how there's the European games interwoven and that there's been less of a summer break/time for Mourinho to work with the team.

We can almost expect a decent result against Arsenal now. Chelsea...well, if they don't fix the defence then we may see issues have developed in their team by this point of the season.
