My favourite one that always makes me smile is when I hear the sound of a suitcase being dragged along, reminds me of airports and going away to nice places.
 
The sound of the locking clasps being opened on a Gibson guitar case (followed by the interior smell as you open it).
 
Standard and boring, but the sound the first beer can or bottle being opened is always nice. I like the sound of rain, assuming I'm somewhere dry listening to it.
 
The sound of the cue ball striking the colour and the ball hitting the leather before going in the pocket.
 
That mixture of excitement and fear when watching Soccer Saturday or listening to radio 5 and you hear the words "goal at.....(wherever spurs are playing)". Right up until you find out we are losing. :-(
 
Tempted to quote a Simon and Garfunkel title here...

Seriously though - a little one's hearty laughter always puts a smile on my face - even if it is sugar induced...
