What is half way wrong?
Genuinely interested to know.
If I'm truthful, I'd have to dig deep to find what I deeply disagree with. I was certainly striving for a balanced view, but I'll read it again.

I tried reading the article, but stopped when I got to this
"He is rinsing this club, using it to siphon profit into a myriad of shell companies, many of which he and his cronies are also shareholders of."
You lose all empathy with me when you write something las stupid as that.
Cry me a river.
Tottenham Hotspur Limited is the main holding company and there are several subsidiaries that run the different businesses. What I don't get is people not realising the land Tavistock own and built houses on isn't Spurs money. They used the stadium to acquire the ground. But it isn't linked to Tottenham Hotspur Station. It's a complete Fagin of Uncle Joe's and cousin Daniel's shell companies.
This is the guy that is so corrupt he was actually reprimanded under Donald Trump's adminstration! That's actually quite incredible. The only billionaire that got caught so blatantly he got done. That's how corrupt he is. Of course he only copped a fine. But he was sweating his fat arse for a while.
AHH well. I like to write this brick. But I don't really care. I get more satisfaction watching the heroes defend Enic and Levy.
Tottenham Hotspur Limited is the main holding company and there are several subsidiaries that run the different businesses.
One of those is Tottenham Hotspur Property Company Limited, which is also made up of several subsidiaries, holds all the property portfolio.
They are all part of the Tottenham Group. All the money generated by those subsidiaries flow back into the main holding company, Tottenham Hotspur Limited.
But you continue with your lies and flimflam.
But how are the siphoning off the money?Tavistock own Tottenham. If you think they aren't siphoning off money from land they acquired from borrowing off the name of Tottenham Hotspur then I have some magic beans for sale. And I'll do you a really good price.

But how are the siphoning off the money?
The land and property is owned by the club which is in turn majority owned by ENiC which js majority owned by joe Lewis and Tavistock is his investment vehicle
But with the club not paying out any dividends or returns or investors no money is leaving the club so far
So how is it going into Tavistock pockets?
I appreciate the anger towards them. It’s valid in that they could and should put more in from a fans perspective. But claiming things without backing it up is very Donald Trump
As I said before, I’ll happily be educated on where it’s going if you can show me some evidence. I’d e done land acquisition and property development before and shell companies are created for that. But they can be traced back to the owner pretty easily through companies house
And THFC ultimately has an owner tooIn the 15-20 or so years leading up to the stadium you could see all that land and property dynamics year on year in the annual accounts. I think the smart fans knew that it was a necessary evil to do the eventual build as opposed to have that cashflow in any years football operations budget. Most were ignorant to it though, but obviously woke up when things like Archway Steel made national news.
I think most fans would now accept that this shiny new stadium and training complex belongs to THFC though. It's a point of pride.
I don't know much about finances here. But if there was a story to be written about siphoning off money it would be a big sorry in one of the bigger more reputable sources imo.Show me in the accounts were they are siphoning off money?

Joe Lewis: How one of Britain's richest people broke insider trading laws
The 87-year-old - whose family trust owns Tottenham Hotspur - gave secret stock tips to his girlfriend and employees.www.bbc.co.uk
I think Joe Lewis is a crook. I think Joe Lewis knows a hundred and one different ways to siphon money off Spurs.
As part of the plea deal, one of Lewis' companies, Broad Bay Ltd, also pleaded guilty to securities fraud and was fined $44m (£34.8m).
It would take a forensic accountant years to go through the way the land was acquired in Tottenham's name and who owns it. I think we can all admit the crook isn't a benevolent owner.
"A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence"Still not seeing any evidence and only empty allegations. I think you need to take the tinfoil hat off.
Why does it have to be that because I don't agree with everything that is written in that article I am automatically a "levy licker"??? Is it not possible to be somewhere between hating and loving (or licking as you so crassly put it) the chairman?I have basically wrote that .
I'm loving the levy lickers queuing up to white knight for a billionaire who has run our team into the ground.
It's beautiful for me. It really is.
Some of the more departed are blaming Dier and peh!
It's great to see. All we need is 15 more years....
Lol!
Nothing said in that post is wrong.
But keep paying.
macarons.
I'm sure with the amount of fans with ire towards Lewis and Enic, there's probably a few with enough expertise to do a deep dive into the accounts, company structures etc. it certainly would be an ace card if they came up with something.I think Joe Lewis is a crook. If the club continues on its current trajectory do you seriously expect those players ( if they fulfill their potential)to still be with us in 5 years?I got bored reading it because it's largely based on rhetoric and fashionable statements.
My issues with the article are numerous, but let's focus on one area.
Eric Dier, PEJ, Ndombele and perisic were the main contributors to reducing the wage bill. Can anyone reading this say they were the future of the club?
A squad is constantly evolving. Players who are on bigger wages leave because they start to drop in standards. Equally younger players and youth team players start on peanuts.
Do you think in 5 years Bergvall will be earning 8 grand a week? What about Archie gray?
Sorry I'm calling gonads.
How much would you like to reduce our transfer spending by to increase our wages to turnover ratio? If we’re being asked to dilute our expectations and wait another 15 years I’m sure that will be reflected i. The ticket pricing right? Lolol
We are paying top dollar now I expect our wage to income to be in line with other clubs charging similar ticket prices. It’s the only way we will be able to bring in and retain top players
I don’t have the time to review the accounts and even if I did I’d still have to speak to people within the club to come to an informed decision. So I don’thave a precise answer for you.How much would you like to reduce our transfer spending by to increase our wages to turnover ratio?
I have numerous issues with the way the club is run, from the ending of concessions for older fans, to the bizarre decisions which have punctuated the club's footballing strategy over the years. I also find the way we treat ex players such as Lloris and others very disappointing, but I do that based on what Lloris wrote in his own book, rather than what the daily mirror is saying about our chairman/manager /club etc.
Every percentage point we raise our wages to turnover ratio costs approximately 5.5m per season. Money that probably has to come from transfer spending.I don’t have the time to review the accounts and even if I did I’d still have to speak to people within the club to come to an informed decision. So I don’thave a precise answer for you.
But I do think the fact that we pay far lower wages than the majority of other clubs fighting for cl is a major issue when looking at player recruitment and needs to be addressed.
