It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Club Historian Andy Porter. He died suddenly at his home yesterday at the age of 54.
Andy has served the club with outstanding commitment and enthusiasm since the 1980s in what was an honorary role and his knowledge on the great love of his life - Tottenham Hotspur - was exceptional.
He was an important member of our team and we have lost a dear colleague and friend - he will be missed by all at White Hart Lane.
Andy was a life-long supporter and followed the team everywhere we went - nationwide and across the world. As a result, he became a well-known figure to fellow fans on our travels and will also be greatly missed by supporters home and abroad.
Beyond his professional endeavours on our behalf, he was also a wonderful man.
We extend our condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.
