Spurs are ‘very interested’ in Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca, according to the normally-reliable Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Italian journalist says Atletico Madrid are also keen on the Colombian but Sevilla have reportedly slapped a €20m (£15.7m) asking price on his head.

Bacca was superb in La Liga last season, bagging 14 goals in 35 league appearances, which saw him named the best signing of the 2013/14 season by Spanish daily Marca (ahead of a certain Welshman).




Couldn't see a thread on him. Without having seen him play, this is pure guess work, but I think he would be an ideal signing for us.

He apparently had or has a £9m clause, but he's only been at Seville for a year and seems happy there. For a Columbian, hot Spanish speaking Seville is going to be more like home. But as you show benp he'd proved himself in Belgium which is the same climate all be it a lower league level.

Pochettino could make the difference. If he really wants Bacca and speaks with him, flatters him, we could get him.
