As we actually have a thread for Lawro .. thought we should have one for the club's mouthpiece

This week's chat

Got to 4 minutes before I'd had enough. Christ that's boring and drawn out.

I guess there's not a huge amount to talk about right now.

During the transfer window was more interesting, and he seemed willing to share some inside knowledge.

I watched them most weeks during the window. I find them quite interesting.

What's the skinny with this guy then - gets inside info? I can't bare that london news website he posts on due to the ads and so avoid the majority of his content by default

Yep, he is widely seen as club's preferred media outlet for as much as we ever want to release.

I find him incredibly boring, and it's the same boring, lame ass stuff over and over again.
There's no depth, just the obvious stuff, presented like the audience are 3 year old (which often is a the case, mentally at least)

Most YouTube content is padded out for ad revenue. I assume that's the case here.

He's definitely one of the better placed journos right now and got just about everything right over the summer.

This week's (and yes it rambles as is his style). Talks about Bale, Sanchez and his Ndombele interview

Observation -> he's takes a very positive outlook on most of our players and thinks we can still get a player out of Sanchez, his very short Dier commentary is so neutral it's damning.

Not a massive fan of his.

As has been stated, he’s basically the club’s puppet and is fed - and says - whatever the club’s media team want him to be fed and say. He’s never particularly insightful either, for me, anyway.

I’d take Dan Kilpatrick over him any day and even Jake Pitt-Brooke, who I know has his detractors on here.

I quite like all 3
They have different views and therefore balance their comments different ways
Jack Pitt Brooke is a city fan but always seems fair to me on us. He can be a bit negative sometimes but then goes to other extremes. He is also genuinely invested in Tottenham
Ali Gold is ok IMO - he does hold his own views as well as the clubs but he doesn’t make up crap like so many others to get clicks and that’s a good thing IMO
Dan’s a nice guy but a little more pessimistic which again offers a balance.
When I see people writing about us form the Daiky Fail, Guardian and Independent I do read it... mainly see how they can spin their article against Jose

Yes that’s a fair point that he’s not sensationalist and doesn’t make stuff up. I just find his musings a bit no brick Sherlock, rather than genuinely insightful.

As you say, probably a place for all three.

Enjoyed that and i agree 100% with what he said about Sanchez.

Considering every spurs fan will read it to see what the club are saying it must get a hell of a lot of views and subsequent advertising monies.

What’s happened to Ben Pearce? He used to be one of first to break transfers news but now barely even does commentary on matches.
