    I’d go with “we imploded within the first 5 minutes and were utter dross for the remaining 85 mins plus stoppage time”. Being better than Fulham in the second half isn’t really worth commenting on, in my view.: I can run faster than a snail but I’m not taking that as a positive.

    I thought that performance was absolutely disgusting. Devoid of any craft, guile or threat. The players looked utterly clueless from back to front. We made Chelsea look brilliant. They aren’t. But they’re far less rubbish than we are.

    And while VAR clearly has MASSIVE faults and limitations… I wonder if the ref would have been asked to go to the monitor? This sort of ‘tackle’ being inexplicably missed by officials is one of the main reasons that we have VAR.
