    You can't teach really passing though, you either have that ability or not, especially not at 20 years old. You would have to hope he can already do it, but has just not felt able to express that ability. Otherwise it's not something he's likely to be able to add at this stage.

    No, look at this way we are allowed a maximum of 17 non HG players. If you want to have more than a 17 man squad then the rest must be a mixture of club and association trained. We are not penalised beyond not having more than 17 players if we don't hit the quotas.

    We don't have to have 4 club trained, it's just to get the full complement of a 25 man squad 8 must be homegrown and 4 of those club trained. If we only have 7 for example we can only name a 24 man squad, if we only have 6 then we can only name a 23 man squad and so on and so on.

    Soldadao was always miss profiled by us. He was mainly a finisher but one that took a number of chances to score, he was never a cold blooded finisher. He was the same at Valencia they just created a hell of a lot more than we did at the time.
