We have had chances in every game But they aren’t being taken because the players that are getting them aren’t players who score goals And he won’t (IMO) play Solanke and Marmoush together in an effective way imo

He said he sees Savio as a right wing….

Can’t see how goals come We don’t have players with that history of scoring And despite having loads of ball we don’t create much

Been really impressed with Tosin And Fernandes passing is a step up on everyone else

They are not poor but they certainly aren’t good sides We were the better side with the ball in both games imo without doing enough Saudi Sportswashing Machine got lucky with a great strike and some shoddy set piece defending They dug in against our weak as tinkle attack

Nothing would surprise me I’ve seen old school players who could drink and create carnage (had to literally lift Kerry Dixon up when he crashed in his own pub) and I’ve seen Ledley fall down the stairs in the lounge in the old stadium tinkled on 2 pints (his wife’s words) But they were all...

Fancied Leeds to do well and they are doing just that It’s a continuation of very good form Familiarity And solid signings

Retro football And they were players that were more like the modern ones than their previous generations Although I did once bump into Iversen in a pub at Covent Garden. He was drinking Guinness which threw me

I think we have an issue with people wanting to see the shoots of positivity without really looking at the outcomes on the pitch I think the positive things have come because we have a numerical advantage in some parts of the pitch where we have some decent players Nothing more than that

Everton are not a good side and as you say, their XG was much better than ours I wonder if the chance gifted to them by Kinky (and well saved too) was a chunk of that But it’s very bland football once we get to their box I do wonder if all the midfield “control” we have means teams get penned...

I think we’re benefiting form having the extra CM in that we look defensively better and can move the ball up to area better But there is no edge to anything because we have almost stooges up the space That balance is key I actually think Tonali being “injured” is a blessing short term

That’s what I mean The decision making has been bad Very bad when in front of goal

It looked great But it didn’t open them up otherwise we would have had a shot or two We didn’t really muster any shots of any quality in that spell but it was great on the eye That’s the balance and the risk I mean

Well Saturday there was elite passing imo from JPvH for exmaple Tonali played some great passes But the final third decision making has been bad I do also think we’re playing an extra midfielder which gives us control and makes us hard to score against but as none of the 3 really have that...

The issue is it’s football with no risk still Their is very little gambling on things happening We have seen some high quality passing being taken into a player who either panics or takes 5 or touched Neither aspect leads to goals at this level
