You are right about this. The club wanted to be ambitious last summer and Levy could not deliver on that. Thats why he was so desperate to get the Xavi Simmons deal done.

As I understand Levy did at times express the need to invest more on the pitch and Joe did not...

I never quite understand the critique of Levy when it comes to the Super League. Had he turned down the spot and the competition had gone it would have been a disaster for the club. Not saying I would want the ESL but Levy had no choice but to be part of it. Wasn’t he given 48 hours notice about...

Yeh it’s a disaster but I’d argue the US has greater capacity to sustain it than the UK even if the debt ratio is lower. Not to dissimilar to Spurs vs other Prem clubs.

I am a Commercial Finance Broker. That is low for a working capital loan. Most business of Spurs size will be 10-15% at the moment. Man Utd were borrowing at 29% from the same type of loan from the same form a few years back.

There is no reason to worry about low interest debt for a company that makes £500M+ a year.

Don’t think that’s fair. We got away with most of the dodgy stuff we did in the late 80’s in the end. Zeki Fryers to Belgium and then to us etc.
