    Easy to say in hindsight, but we massively overpaid on fee and probably on salary too. People moan about Soldado, at least he stayed fit and worked hard.

    It’s a bit of a conundrum, we have candidates who may miss a lot of games, I include Porro in that if Spence stays. Obvious choice for me is Richie, quiet leadership by example, runs through walls for the team and never hides. In the current squad I’d be starting him over the other options...

    I think he’s more concerned with himself than the team, hence letting people in behind him so he can do the Hollywood tackle and never bothering to try and win headers when crosses come in. Wants the highlights not the hard work.
