World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

Van Hecke having a hell of a game. Got opened up by studs in an accidental collision, made some fantastic probing passes, yeah no concerns at all. Some great tackles as well. Very good first half for him so far.

Germany need to give England back it's penalty takers.

    Lucas Bergvall

I'd take the right now because I don't know if I believe either will actually get to the level that has been suggested (more so Bergvall). Vuskovic I honestly just haven't watched enough to really judge, but I just note most of the hype in relation to him comes from the goals he scores rather...

Its business, take the emotion out of it. If they want something we have and are prepared to pay the take their money.

    Sandro Tonali

All potential players at the time of their signings, none imo were certified best in the world.

If there's no Tonali and no Mateus, who will take it?

Attached as well as one for Fernandes and my under the radar pick of Joao Gomes.

    Sandro Tonali

Relative value in football transfer is always a sliding scale. £100m really doesn't get you best in the world quality and hasn't done for a while. Rice, Enzo, Caicedo, Felix, Coutinho, Grealish and Anderson are examples of paying those kind of fees for good but not great players. None of them...

    Sandro Tonali

His passing game is levels above either though. Have you actually watched him play? Not saying he's worth £100m but there is a clear ability difference between Hina be the guys you mention and again I really like Sarr so in not underestimating him.

    Sandro Tonali

Compared to Gallagher, Bergvall, Sarr (I'm a fan), Bentancur and Gray then yes I do think he's a level above them all.

    Sandro Tonali

He's significantly better than what we have currently, now whether that is worth £100m is up for debate. I do believe if we were to scout well abroad we could find a player that offers similar attributes for significantly less but there is more risk involved with making a transfer like that and...

    Andy Robertson

I do hear that, but Davies is equally injury prone as well as being past it. Robertson has increasingly had injuries as well. Seems like we are going to hope one of them is available at all times. Seems like a bit of weird approach to me, but we'll see how this is all going to play out.

It's Spurs so who bloody knows.

    Andy Robertson

I get that, but then we renewed with Davies as well. That part doesn't make a lot of sense. He will be taking up a vital squad place to hopefully never play.

    Andy Robertson

Yes I'm not quite sure what we are doing LB squad number wise. It's too many players for 1 position. Tbh I would love to have been bold this season and gone with just Udogie and Souza. Obviously that isn't the plan but I don't quite understand Udogie, Robertson and Davies for LB and that's...

I get your point but playing at the bigger reputation clubs is without doubt a bonus. You're abilities are better exposed and the assumption always that performing at a top club is harder than doing the same at a smaller or lower performing club (I don't agree, but that narrative definetly...

    Sandro Tonali

It's less that he has less renown and more that he's focused on the Italian market. How accurate he actually is I don't know, but if you look through his posts and you see he really only deals with stories mainly related to Seria A clubs or Italian players.

Came here to post this, also one I thought could have been a good option and not too pricey. I do though accept the sense of not getting a striker right now as midfield and wide left attack are bigger priorities.

    Nico Paz

Como have an agreement to sign him now as I suggested would be the case.
