World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

Kane is never going to get 55 touches unless he goes out wide and stand 10 yards behind Madueke. In a world full of useless stats I'd love to see the number of passes he has recieved from Rashford in their England careers, I don't think I would need both hands to check.

The Match of the Day Thread

I remember being so excited when MotD started, I was playing on Saturdays and this gave me a chance to see games. The format was ok for me Kenneth Wolstenholme creaming his pants whenever Bobby Charlton got the ball, no bloody experts telling me what to think, sometimes an interview with a...

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

I thought you were referring to football fans, not the windbags on TV. I've been forced to listen to their mindless comments as I watched with my family.

They showed that when they played England last year. Arrogant British media just know nothing about African football.

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

The more I watch football the more I realise how easy it is to play and although I'm pass my prime at 80 I could still do a good job in goal, I'd have definitely saved both of Kane's goals as well as scoring the one Wissa missed. I'm like a fine wine get better the older I get.

I'd put one of the players who were supposed to be at CB as they were hardly ever there, I've never seen 2 CBs caught out of position so much at this level.

World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

I don't know what will happen tonight, no result would surprise me. We look completely clueless at times, why our wide players take the ball down to the goal line before passing is beyond belief can't they see they are running out of opinions with ever step?.

    Will Lankshear

Neither he won't get the chance, young players need time to adapt, time is only allowed to players that clubs have paid big money for. 1 or 2 goals in 8 games and he'd be seen as not good enough. If we create chances he'd score, he's not going to beat 2/3 men on a dribble or out pace a defence...
