    Even the senior players we have available are developing. VDV, awesome at times, but quite young at 24 for a CB, and prone to a mistake (should have done better for their goal for me). Xavi, 22, moments of sheer class, but not able to drive the ball into the net like he will in the future...

    3.5 more games without Romero. And probably next season too. Any confidence drained. Xavi had a couple of openings early on. And then Solanke at the end. Otherwise, we just gave up possession in the face of their bigger, better defence.
