    Champions League 25/26

The Killers singing on the pitch before kickoff; has that happened before in previous CL finals (i mean a singer/grouping singing on the pitch' stage')? I don't remember such before (but that could just be me only paying real attention at the point where teams start walking out of the tunnels...

    The Goon Thread

The key will be if they can buy a dribbler and/or a bonafide number 9 who is better (and faster) than Gyokeres and bang in 16 goals minimum from open play. If they get that then it might be trouble for the resat of the league. But i tend to agree with you that lack PGMOL 'support' and more...

    The Goon Thread

I do see the logic here; maybe more likely 3rd or 4th. I do expect a PGMOL 're-balancing' next season and Gabriel or Timber sent off within the first few weeks..

    Morgan Gibbs-White

I mean we made an attempt to buy him alst summer because it was convenient (we thought we had an easy to match release clause to overcome and then that was it bang, he'd be ours). Baggage now because of how Marinakis blocked it last year and i would imagine would be even more determined to make...

Which is fair enough. I'm just not sure it's worth revisiting atm tbh, but we'll see..

I hear that. It just feels like same old, same old: doing a deal just because it's convenient. I don't think MGW is so good that we should go back tbh, i guess personal preference. It will certainly cost us a lot so i guess that will sort of cancel my first point about doing a deal out of...

    Morgan Gibbs-White

The whole baggage of being willing to come but then not because of the 'release clause' issue and then signing an extension under duress. I'm pretty sure he is on more than what we were offering last time and i'm not sure at this point he'd be worth the hassle..and it WILL be hassle to sign him...

    Morgan Gibbs-White

I'd say steer clear. Ship jas sailed and now too much baggage surrounding him. I'd rather put the effort to get him into getting a Wharton or even a Baleba or even a top number 9. Unless one of Madisson or Kulu is sold it might be too many ACMs

    Next seasons squad

Yes, i think the summer after Ange's first season was the start. Only one first teamer brought in and the rest were 'kids'. And we wonder why we've had two 17thg place finishes since then

    Next seasons squad

I'd love a robust left-back in addition to Robertson (my preference would be instead of Robertson tbh) I want Udogie to no longer be number one choice at LB, he's had enough chances now

Oh really? Why didn't he 'listen to the boo-boys" when we flopped against Arsenal and then lose to a team in the Europa league who had their coach in prison for the match but instead only "listen to the boo-boys" a few days before a cup final? Why was Levy all of sudden "swayed by the...

You honestly think Levy sacked him because of "the boo boys"?

    Will Lankshear

A question for those who've followed RDZ's career previously, do we think he'll use Lankshear next season?

    ENIC

Yes,@Lemonade Money because you felt it was a good decision to go into the league cup final in 2021 with Ryan Mason in charge instead of (at that time) the one manager who had been able to beat Pep in a Cup final?

Are you saying that the Kroenke Sports Group would be a more acceptable ownership model than the typical American ownership models?
