The we are staying up thread

Those who are crying about us celebrating are those who would have been celebrating had we got relegated. So yeah, if we want to celebrate staying up (and we didn't do anything over the top) then we fudging well can....

    Pedro Porro

I like Spence but doesn't have end product. Hes quick but delivery wise hes nowhere near Porros level. Like you say there's a reason why every manager at Spurs has Porro playing ahead of him....

I think it's fair to reserve judgement until the summer window in terms of signings to be honest. People keep going on about that January window, who on earth was we going to attract that could actually add value? It's a difficult enough window at the best of times, let alone when we are near...

    Cristian Romero

    1) Romero had the reputation of being a dirty player because of the things he has done, that reputation didn't come out of nowhere 2) There have been a few incidents this season where Romero was lucky to get away with not being sent off and 'Had that been Romero he would have got a red card'...

    Antonin Kinsky

He has stepped up fantastically, and demonstrated his mental strength. Don't want to be negative about him at all, just have this nagging feeling that we still need to purchase a quality no.1 - he has been behind the sticks here for such a short period of time, teams will begin to suss out...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Exactly, saying look how many points we would have got over a season doesn't prove anything :D I agree, RDZ is a better fit for the players we have and way we want to play but also personality wise - he has that bite, can be a bit of a **** at times but we need that to stick up for our club...

It's not even that, football doesn't work like that - We got x amount of points in this timeframe therefore we will get x points in a season. It just doesn't work like that, as West Ham have seen form doesn't go on the same forever. I remember when Conte took over when we were struggling, ended...

Don't know why there's this in vogue thing to complain about Neville. Whenever I hear him speak about us on his podcast or elsewhere he's always complimentary/respectful of our stature and no underlying tone with him. And again after the game today he's pretty spot on for me:

Obviously want us to stay up anyway, but we do play some really nice stuff under RDZ. Would love to see him in the PL having a pre season and some decent additions and see what he can do. Considering the pressure of this game, been impressed with the performance. Keep going boys...

    Cristian Romero

If it was always planned then his agent would have mentioned when Gold spoke to him the other day. The right thing has resulted in the end so we can put it to bed, but it's a shame it had to create the amount of noise it did in the lead up to our biggest game for quite some time....

Sunday League Dreams (thread for those still playing football)

Yeah love it, should play until you're unfit to IMO if you like playing. Ten years ago my Brentwood Sunday League team won a competition sponsored by Nivea. This meant a seasons coaching with two FA coaches and a few sessions with Ray Wilkins, Clemence and Terry Venables. We then played a...
