I believe the membership of our much maligned medical team has changed multiple times over the last 5 years. I also believe our medical team and facilities is far better than many other smaller Prem teams that have 3 physios and fat Bob with the cold bucket of water. So I doubt it is the fault...

Nope, we've got 12 games. To get 12 points. With a 12 game gap before the next game. It is the 12th of the month. Numerologists will be rigid with excitement. PS. I assume if the owners tried to appoint De Zerbi there would (rightly) be a huge social media backlash to try to stop it, just...

Agreed; all of the better prospects are out on loan, as they were ready and robust enough to have a loan. Those that are left are not really ready. E.g. they can come on for 20 minutes and try, but they are not ready for significant minutes 3 times per week.

Thanks for posting that article. People used to say Levy was spread too thin, distracted by building some flats and the idea of building a hotel. Nick Beucher has about ten times as many businesses to keep an eye on; he must spend a good 25 to 30 minutes per week thinking about Spurs.

The Overlap - some interesting comments from Ange

I think the problem is 4 or 5 people all firing 'nothing' questions in at once, trying to get their oar into the conversation and darting around rather than digging deeper into fewer areas. It is a chaotic situation.

    These jokers…

Some podcasts are saying that Peter Charrington is supremely important in all of this. Vinai just does what he is told by those above. Others seem to think Beucher the Butcher is the main guy that says what goes. Others say it is the elderly kids Viv and Charlie. I'm not sure who or what to...

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Yes, leadership. The manager needs to have a real aura about them such that when they walk into any room everyone turns and respects them and awaits what they have to say. Some managers do this through fear and punishment, the best do this through positivity and aura. The tactics have to be...

That's what I mean, that could be the problem. The pitches are so perfect and hard wearing and immune from wear and tear; I suspect a training ground should be a little softer so that the joints and ligaments are getting a slightly cushioned impact on every stride during training, rather than...

Gazza would burst past 2 opponents, commit 2 more and roll the ball to a bemused unmarked teammate. But all of that is irrelevant because my comment (before SteveAWOL went AWOL :D ) was that Dragusin is a terrible passer, so must never play for us. Ever.

He said "Prolonged exposure to hard playing surfaces" i.e. the training ground being too firm, seems the most likely source of the problems.

Don't forget that Maddison had knee ligament damage on 3rd May 2025 vs Bodo Glimt and was out for the rest of that season. He didn't require surgery... but in his first game back, in the pre-season game vs Saudi Sportswashing Machine, he fully ruptured his ACL in the same knee. So I am very wary of saying Odobert...

    Radu Drăgușin

I suggest that if Dragusin and Vicario are on the pitch, the opposition will let them have the ball all day, as they are both terrible at passing. Therefore the opposition can mark all of the other players and we are hamstrung, getting pushed back until one of Drag/Vic smash the ball 60 yards...
