I didn't say a few people. I said consensus amongst the membership. And the Greens need to understand that. Not fielding candidates is still a form of democracy as long as it is what the membership wants.

Was out to play snooker with my childhood pals yesterday and we were discussing how we have never felt less welcome in the country we were all born in. None of us has dual nationality. None of our kids are bilingual now. And we still want to think we aren't less. But it's clear to many we are...

Personally I think Burnham has to be radical to get anywhere. Moving a bit left and being a bit nice is not enough. But it is the only move Labour have left. Or they become the new Lib Dems.

As much as a like Burnham I do think his brand is a lot better than he actually might be. It's hard to tell. But is he more likely to steady the nerves than Kier? Yes.

That is the right thing to do. How ever in this instance, if the Greens see a consensus amongst their membership and leadership, then the decision not to stand a candidate is entirely democratic in my view.

If Green didn't field a candidate they would be doing the right thing for the country if you really want to stop the Reform surge. And it's is a real surge now. Tangible.

You would bet on reform pulling an upset. And then the clamour for an immediate GE will be loud. Interesting times ahead

We need to try and succeed as a nation in spite of the economic self harm that came from Brexit. I think most people who voted for it seem to be incapable of seeing the mistake or they don't care. They just shout stuff like "arrr laws" "human rights laws are bad" lol

Israel really are making a mockery of the US now. And this case. They realise the NYT has gravitas even with the most ardent Israel fan. But the case it self is evidenced. And it's fukin depraved. And it's paid for by US tax dollars.

This isn't an RPG dude. And the US hasn't won a war in a long time. Ask the Afghanis.

Streeting doesn't even look like he will hold his own seat next GE. And he's genuinely comes across slimey and dishonest. Literally nobody from his cabinet has a chance at being a unity candidate.

It all depends where Labour want to fight the battle ground. If it's reform voters then maybe go Shabana or Wes or someone ever more right wing. If they want to gain the Green voters and the independents back then it's got to be someone more left. Not even Burnham.
