    Mohammed Kudus

I'm with Munn on this one. He has been crystal clear that he oversaw the review and presented a set of recommendations to his seniors. It was also crystal clear that they declined some of his recommendations which required budget and specialisation. I reckon our THFC medical team was suffering...

    +++ OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland 12th April 2026 +++

I actually think it is an incredibly tough team selection. RDZ mentions that he's watched a bunch of footage of us. He would therefore see that Danso has been one of our better players. I think the mistake Tudor made was not going with his own preferred formation and that was a back 3. He had...

This is a little double edged for me. I'm pretty certain I would have rather had Phillips over Davies and Dragusin if selecting a PL team in a situation where we'd lost 2 of our main 3. I very much doubt Dragu or Davies would be keeping Phillips out of the Stoke team. He's having a superb...

I guess if the THFC comms people are the ones releasing the RDZ training vids then they would have an incentive not to declare Kudus in them.

    Not that I'm bitter...

Using the "clear and obvious" determination over the laws has been the biggest failure in VAR.

They are sort of mutually exclusive in my mind. You rarely find single root causes in football. The officiating adds into the mix unfortunately for us this season. All we've done is sent a letter to the PL. We should have gone in a lot harder on Webb's lot.

I can tell you what is worse than the CL final. If we get relegated and we can prove that PGMOL was the difference between staying up and going down. They clearly can be based on what we've seen this season from Webb's lot.

Such a great post. Getting that fun back is so, so important.

Are you saying that referees can change the course of history with their incompetence and biases. Surely not :tearsofjoy:

It's always a good conversation whether top drawer managers would join Spurs. It's also a good conversation whether some of them are even top drawer. Frank clearly was gettable. I reckon some others weren't.

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I do think you should perhaps acknowledge that you can take a smaller narrative and position it as a bigger one to perhaps suit your own argument. LOL - you made it out as if I was blaming Kane for Ukraine, Iran and all the rest of Trumps misdemeanours. I really wasn't. I was mostly giving...

Haven't caught up with the pod yet, but my thoughts would be 1) Signing a manager who wasn't a stylistic fit. No probs with moving Ange on though. We probably should have canned Frank earlier and gone straight into a permanent replacement like De Zerbi. 2) Not listening to Scott Munn's...

Fantastic documentary that. Mikey seems like a good guy with a great attitude.

Nah, I never put it all on Southgate. You said that, not me. I think the defenders on the pitch could have corrected the Maguire/Young issue but I'm not sure what Hendo could do about what was happening around him to be fair. That overload was on the manager and he didn't change it all game...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Yeah, I thought he would have gone a year or two earlier to be fair. That was never my issue with Harry. I just think in 2021 when he had the City interest he changed his disposition as a Spurs player. Staying in Miami when we had a new manager through the door and making it all about him didn't...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I was in Moscow in 2018 for Croatia. Southgate was a prick. He allowed Maguire to pull Ashley Young inside marking his man leaving Dele to manage the entire left side. Maguire and Stones were both free all of the time. Neither marked a player. That left Hendo running around like a mad man and to...

I'm actually not playing the blame game though. That is perhaps your narrative. I'm actually stating that when the dynamic between manager and player isn't right then bad things can happen. I think @Bedfordspurs said it above. It's about belief in the manager who needs to get the players...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

I think it is probably hard to contextualise it now. As you know, I was on a different forum in those days but happily remember some really intelligent posters calling Kane out in the moment for the things he did. I saw and heard it on the terraces as well as an England fan. You could see that...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

It's not negativity really though. It was the reality we found ourselves in with him. I saw it as an England fan as well. The difference was the England fans weren't biased Spurs fans like we were. They would call Kane out on the terraces, which eventually happened with guys like Roy Keane and...
