    A ginormous ‘if’, haha

I mean aren’t we essentially fudged now? Unless Maddison can start playing some minutes and play well? We just have so much of our attack injured it’s a joke.

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton, White Hart Lane, Sat April 18th, 5.30pm***

Why do managers never just seem to play people in their best positions?! Xavi on the left and Gallagher as a 10? 👎🏻 Also don’t know how Bissouma’s getting a start, his heart hasn’t looked in it for a while. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

    Conor Gallagher

I must confess I hate watching him. Seems so brainless defensively, just chasing the ball like a toddler with no anticipation.

Yeah personally I think Danso’s pretty good on the ball.

    Cristian Romero

What do you think about him for the second goal today? I’ve been a Romero fan, but for me he is unforgivable for that second goal.

***OMT Tottenham Hotspur Football Club v Nottingham Forest***

Thought we were the better team first half, just one corner we didn’t defend properly. Then still in it until Romero decided just to stop defending for their goal. taco. 3-0 is a terrible result, but I don’t think it means all our players are crap or weren’t trying.

    Cristian Romero

fudging disgrace for their second goal. Cant believe my eyes. Send him to the reserves for the rest of the season.

What the actual fudge is Romero doing. Absolutely disgraceful.

Interesting, I’ve thought that he doesn’t work that hard and that it’s a weakness of his! And/or he doesn’t has the stamina for it. Always looks tired or lackadaisical closing down and tracking back to me.

    Pape Matar Sarr

He's looking so much more composed and progressive in possession.

    Archie Gray

He's always had that composure and quick feet, but to me he's a) looking better and better physically (both speed and strength), and b) playing with more drive going forward. Love to see it.

    Mathys Tel

He just doesn’t seem to have that natural ability to beat players. But he strikes the ball well, even if his end product is inconsistent at this stage. And I love his intent.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Atletico Madrid ***

I continue to believe that our biggest issues are psychological, and that recent form/momentum and home atmosphere have a massive impact on the players’ performance. Credit to Tudor as well for clearly getting the players motivated in what was starting to feel like an absolute quagmire of...

Of course they won’t forget this. They’ll be low as fudge.

    OMT Spurs v Athletico

I don’t particularly like Tudor, but don’t think you can blame him for the two slips today (or VDV’s red card against Palace). To be fair I think you can blame him for starting Kinsky - though lots of fans wanted it, and I bet the second fudge-up wouldn’t have happened if the first slip hadn’t...

    OMT Spurs v Athletico

IMO there’s no point drawing any conclusions from tonight - we lost because of two slips and a GK fudge-up.

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

Personally I think by far the biggest issue is our injuries over the last two seasons. After all we finished 5th the season before that, and the only players from that season’s most used 11 that are no longer here are Son and Johnson. (Granted two good goalscorers, so I agree that’s part of our...

OMT - Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur

What a depressing choice of substitutions. 2-0 down and sticks with a CM on the right and Biss-Palhinha in the middle.

    OMT *** Tottenham Hotspur v woolwich *** 22.2.26

We should pin this post. Our injuries are so bad, I think you can’t accurately judge the manager or the squad at the moment. Just hope we stay up and get better luck with injuries next season - then let’s see where we’re at (after all, we finished 5th the last time we had a season with normal...
