In hindsight, the changes proved to be wrong. However, I certainly didn’t call it at the time. We didn’t create much first half and we were one down despite being the better side. How often have fans said “the manager is afraid to make changes” when we’re losing. Poch was hit with that a lot as...

When you think Tottenham have hit rock bottom and can’t possibly go any lower, strap yourself in for a descent at breakneck speed.

You could argue that. I thought we were decent last season up to probably the Ipswich game or thereabouts. Doesn’t make much difference anyway, we’ve been utter brick for longer than I thought Tottenham could be utter brick.

Absolutely, we’ve been utter brick for 1.5 seasons. No argument from me there. I’m looking at how long we’ve gone without a win though. It’s 13 games. If that continued to the end of the season, that’s 20 games without a win. That’s Derby 07/08 levels of brick. They were the worst team in PL...

It’s grim but we aren’t even in the relegation spots yet. West Ham looked down the year we beat them 4-3 and put a run together. Fulham looked dead and buried a couple of years later and turned it around. I maintain we cannot be this brick for the remainder of the season. The law of averages has...

Got beaten for pace twice today when I’d have bet the mortgage on him ordinarily. His head doesn’t look right to me and hasn’t for weeks. Hope the lad is okay.

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

They are all fair points mate and there’s merit to that argument. I do think if we go down, there is much more to come out about what’s gone on this season. I think there will be a mini industry from this in terms of books, articles and morbid curiosity about how we handle relegation and The...

They really aren’t. I was sure we’d turned a corner and with all the good feeling today, I was certain we’d win. There was that little nagging voice saying “it’s Spurs, they’ll fudge it” but I ignored it because I really and truly thought we’d broken the cycle and the players would show their...

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

I know we fundamentally disagree on this and I do respect your opinion and appreciate your articulation of it. But I do still disagree. The underlying numbers for our away form were not sustainable. That was clear as day. We won a game 3-0 at Everton. I’ve no idea how. It wasn’t a good...

What song are we currently (a bit of fun here so take in that spirit!)…

“I just don’t see why I should even care, It’s not dark yet but it’s getting there” Indeed Bob. Indeed.

What was the trigger in our downward trend?

It’s a fair argument but we were consistently dogbrick at home and even some of the away wins defied the underlying numbers. A collapse in that away form was always coming while the habit of losing at home, started under Ange, continued unabated.

You’re right but there will be rounds of podcasts. The media will be on it non-stop. There’ll be Cundy and O’Hara being strangely entertaining. It’s like being on a night out and after 6 pints, someone says “tequila?” In hindsight, when I need 3 days to recover, that tequila (and the 6 after...

Just realised that I haven’t seen my Irish team win a league game in over a year too and they’re rock bottom of the league. Only game I’ve seen them win in 12 months was a relegation play off. Maybe I am the problem.

It had occurred to me mate but then I realised we are only marginally less brick at the games I haven’t been to.

I’m now 16 league games without seeing us win. Last win I saw was v Villa in Novermber 24. Since then, 6 draws and 9 defeats. If my wife or kids did this to me, they’d be out the door. And I love the three of them dearly. fudging Tottenham.

Seeing a lot of “well what was the point” and “that’s how they repay us” posts on SM after today. Thing is, we need to continue to do it. Crowd were excellent today all game IMO. Yeah, it’s an absolute gut punch. But all the people saying “we’re down, it’s done”. We need to be better than that...

I’m numb. I’m stunned. That’s a shocker. Tudor not doing the post match interviews either so I’m expecting a change. Thought first half we were decent but didn’t create much. Hindsight allows huge criticism of the subs but he rolled the dice and went to a back 4. How many managers have been...
