***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton, White Hart Lane, Sat April 18th, 5.30pm***

Only saw the second half but the 20 mins he was on, he was our best player IMO. Broke up play a few times, can’t remember him wasting a pass even if they weren’t defence splitting passes. Thought he was brilliant for a lad who has been out as long as he has. Crucial he plays in the run in IMO.

    Fixture & Ticket News 25/26

Tell me why it’s a bad idea. There are tickets in the home end on general sale for Villa. Considering going. Bad idea? Sat in the home end at our away games twice before. Once at Liverpool, a 0-0 in 1996, and they were actually okay about it but I was 15. Did it at Stoke in 2010 when we won...

Think that’s fair comment. Only thing I’ll say, and I didn’t see the first half, as good as Brighton were second half, Kinsky didn’t have to make any saves of note I can recall. Last week, he only had to make one. So we aren’t conceding lots of great chances. We’re defending a little better as a...

Absolutely correct. Symptomatic of the disjointed decision making that’s been made by the club since we sacked Poch. Thomas Frank, IMO, got the job because he showed he could outperform relative to his resources. No thought given to whether his style could succeed at a club chasing Europe...

We’re not down yet by a long shot. The margin for error has become finer but I love how RDZ is talking and acting, having Bentancur back is huge, Simons showed he can create for us. We can still stay up. It’s just become a bit more nerve shredding but we’re still fighting. Gut punch today but...

Thought he worked his nuts off today and had a decent game. It’s not like he had a lot of service.

Looks like he’s taking a leaf from Ossie’s book v Oldham in 94 and going with experience over form to get us out of this.

They are not that bad. They’ve been set up for failure by the club at every turn and have a massive mental block. What is happening over the last few months is not normal. I’ve never seen such a disparity between ability and achievement in the Premier League. While the players have...

    A Moral Dilemma For you

We’re gonna win today with a dodgy decision and the Premier League are gonna take this thread as evidence against us. We’ll be relegated for bribery and Everton will probably also be deducted 12 points coz that’s just how the Premier League do things. Thanks @thfcsteff.

Wolves win without a doubt. Beating Wolves is in our hands so it’s on us to beat them. Any help we can get for the stuff out of our hands to reel in West Ham, Forest and Leeds will be gratefully received even if that means Woolwich beating West Ham if it’s needed at that point.

    25/26 Injury and illness thread

Didn’t RdZ say this week that Kudus is now out for the season because of how we handled his return? That’s staggering. Has this club learned nothing? Injury after injury for three seasons and we try rushing a lad back after 3 months out. Echos of VdV and Romero v Chelsea. I’d heard from a...

*** The official 2025/26 Premier League thread ***

Came in to post that. That’s a very well run club. We’re scrambling around trying to find anyone to do the job while they’ll have a fella in place two months before the current fella goes. It’s not that hard. We really are run by idiots.

At some point this season, I’m certain these players will produce a performance that makes us go “where the fudge have you been all season”. It’ll come out of nowhere and it’ll shock us all. The hope is that that performance comes before it’s too late. We’re already very close to the point where...

    A Moral Dilemma For you

We could bribe a referee up to his eyeballs at Stamford Bridge and still find a way to lose there. It's who we are.

The *WHEN* we go down thread

I think Lange will be publicly hung on his statement in January that we didn't need to bring in players (or words to that effect in that club interview he did). That kills his credibility publicly completely and gives weasels like Vinai a sacrificial lamb to blame his own shortcomings on. We go...

    A Moral Dilemma For you

You know what @thfcsteff, this occurred to me last night. In any walk of life I’ve experienced, rich people don’t like getting less rich and will do anything to avoid it. There’s no level I haven’t seen people sink to to avoid accountability particularly when it comes to money. Surely our mob...

Let's see. I have my doubts. I could see it blowing up spectacularly if we go down.

The *WHEN* we go down thread

You'd hope so and I haven't looked at the numbers in any great detail. But on the flip side, we have stadium debt to service while matchday revenue will decline, we'll have a manager on 10 times the average salary in that league, we could have a bunch of players on ridiculous salaries by...

The *WHEN* we go down thread

Relegation is a massive unknown. I've seen people say "we'll definitely come back up" and others say "we haven't a chance of coming back up". None of us know because this situation is unprecedented. None of us know because we don't really yet know the financial implications of us going down...
