BUILDING A SIEGE MENTALITY IN THE NEXT MONTH

Great post mate. Just realised this is the longest relationship I’ve ever had - 46 years of age and supported Spurs since I was 4. My parents passed a few years ago. Well it’s the longest relationship except for that with my brother but as he made me support Spurs, I disowned him long ago…

    OMT Badgers vs Eagles

I thought playing Solanke that way was absolute madness. He's a target man. Good at holding the ball up, great outlet, decent finisher. He's not Harry f**king Kane. One of those decisions I'd have to question Tudor on.

    OMT Badgers vs Eagles

Only relative to West Ham. It'd get us 2 points further clear of Forest, we'd leapfrog Leeds and bring Palace back within touching distance.

The rumours doing the rounds on socials are that Vicario and Solanke are gonna be dropped tonight...

BUILDING A SIEGE MENTALITY IN THE NEXT MONTH

I get it. This season has been the most miserable I've had supporting the club I think. 91/92 was pretty grim, 97/98 and maybe 03/04 were all brick (funnily enough, 93/94, I have some fond memories of) but this year has been pathetic and so much has gone on that has contributed to our plight...

BUILDING A SIEGE MENTALITY IN THE NEXT MONTH

We’re effectively two points above West Ham and Forest and can overtake Leeds tomorrow. We have a better set of fixtures than anyone else. We are still in the driving seat here but it needs the people in the stands to get right behind the fellas on the pitch to get out of this. Alll this...

    OMT Badgers vs Eagles

If Souza is anywhere near as good as he's looked, that's a decent defence. Think I'd have someone more experienced in the middle but I guess we've rolled the dice on kids before (Mason and Bentaleb) and it paid off. Up top, I think there's creativity and goals there. Like that team @thfcsteff...

It’s Tottenham, you rule nothing out…

Maybe I’m deluded but we can’t continue to be this bad for 20 games (which is what it’d be by the end of the season). Our form has to turn. These are good football players and professionals. They cannot allow Tottenham to go down. The climb out of trouble begins tomorrow.

Something like tonight was always going to happen. West Ham and Forest have looked reasonably good recently relative to their positions. Nothing has changed for us. We have to win. And then we’ve to win 2-3 more games after that. We’re good enough to do it but have to show it. If we win...

Absolutely this. The mark will be 37-40 points. We have 29 and have had for a while. If we can’t get to that mark we will go down because you can’t rely on West Ham and Forest losing every game. And what’s more, we will absolutely deserve to go down if we can’t get 8-11 points.

    Xavi Simons

Mentioned 93-94 the other day. If I recall correctly Ossie, a footballing purist, abandoned his principles for that Oldham game. Switched to 3-5-2 and dropped Anderton and Barmby because he wanted to get a result by any means possible. That's where we are right now. Xavi is a terrific player...

    Igor the Interim

Dyche is an interesting one. He might just get us organised but it'd be worse than watching Frank's team and the story was that the players weren't happy with Frank's style. He's the antithesis of a Tottenham manager but we will be desperate if we lose tomorrow. Harry hasn't managed in forever...

Just because there isn’t enough negativity around at the moment… Here’s a hypothetical. We lose tomorrow. We then have Liverpool away which is almost certainly another loss which would make it 4 from 4 games with Tudor. So if tomorrow doesn’t go well, would you stick or twist?

It's an interesting one. I've been saying the same thing for a while - creativity is being coached out of kids. I'll preface this by saying my lad's coaches are brilliant. Really good guys who know the game. My lad got a ball into him in last week's game in the middle of the park facing his own...

The "If we go down" thread

The last sentence particularly seems a bit like slicing off your nose to spite your face... I feel a bit sick when I think of relegation. It's not something I ever thought I'd see once we'd established ourselves in the top 6. It's coming between me and my night's sleep a bit. The humiliation...

The "If we go down" thread

It would have been reckless not to considering the grave financial implications of relegation and Daniel Levy was not reckless when it came to this stuff. Many others would have been I'm sure. These lads have more than enough incentive to get us out of this mess then because most are on...

    Igor the Interim

This season has been reminding me of 93/94 under Ossie. I remember we got a spate of injuries that year too, most notably to Teddy, and we went ages without winning this time of year. Had a look this morning. We had 30 points after a win on 28th December and then went 10 games to end of March...

    Guglielmo Vicario

In his defence, he made one exceptional stop yesterday at the feet of their lad to keep us in the game. He is shocking on crosses and at kicking though. Why we didn’t go for Kelleher absolutely boggles my mind. Just another decision to put on the ever growing Mount Everest of decisions that...
