Odobert is becoming really important to us.

TbF I think he could be a decent player. Has a good shot and not afraid to take on his man on the left. But not a guaranteed starter in my book.

I think Odobert is ahead of Tel insofar as he has already played a full PL season with Burnley and was one player in that team who stood out for me. I was pleased when we signed him and he's now starting to find form. In my opinion, if it's a choice, he should be starting ahead of Tel.

Tel looks like he could develop into a very good player. And his attitude on the face of it has looked top class. For me, though, the emphasis is on could. But he's not a hill I'd be willing to die on if he does leave. We have a lot of players in the same category and there are others like...

    American politics

Europe has to hold its nerve. I don’t believe the American people will accept going to war with Europe.

    Randal Kolo Muani

This. He's taking wages and we badly need a striker this window.

Ha didn’t see your post. I thought they were poor last season.

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Weirdest thing Bodo beating City though… I was there when they came to our place last season and they could barely kick a ball forward; seriously one of the worse teams to come to the stadium ( still managed a goal though). And yet they beat City. That does not bode well for Arsenal’s only...

Result will be great for TF. Looked like a beaten man after WHAM. Might still be…but well done tonight gaffer.

I genuinely don’t think he’s suited to the PL. His brain isn’t quick enough.

    Dominic Solanke

We need to try to find cover for him now. Can't just rely on one striker.

Without stating the obvious, really good first half. But we seem to be a team of 2 halves so no time to relax. So pleased to have Dom Solanke back though.

I don't disagree that it's not working. But that in itself doesn't make every decision wrong.

He has to balance putting out his best team against the risk of injuries, ever manager wants their best players out there. I think he has generally rotated very well. Those injuries you mentioned came during the very busy Christmas schedule and like people who defended Ange would say, TF has...

The pile in has been pretty big tbf. Won't go through individual posts but very little understanding of the situation. I get people thinking he should be gone but I think this is a pretty routine decision. He must think Solanke is ready and let's be fair he has been easing him in up to this...

Agreed but at least they are more informed than us. How they use that information is another thing entirely. Generally TF has been quite cautious on injuries.

Well I have to say although you might be right, the way it looks you could just as well be wrong re Frank. Also no guarantee that a new manager will instantly make Tel a starter.

*Sigh* As a manager you are taking decisions that are best for the team. Sometimes that tinkles off players. It can't be helped and you shouldn't be held to ransom. I think Tel has a great attitude actually and he will get over this. No player wants to be on the bench. But in any profession...
