So there might be more than a one match man ban incoming then. If there’s a way to screw us over, it will be found…

    The Cricket Thread

I appreciate this is not the most pressing of concerns at the moment around the England cricket team but when did cricket go down the football route of putting a “y” at the end of everyone’s name? I was watching a bit of the TNT coverage during the week before going to bed with TMS* in my ears...

I didn’t think the tackle itself was bad or malicious but the summary above kind of made it sound like it was. . Maybe I’m being over sensitive.

    Liverpool thread

This is so bizarre as I am literally just watching Isak limping off, with support, granted) on MOTD as I’m scrolling on here and seen the story above. Not wanting to downplay his injury but he doesn’t look like someone who has just suffered a “leg break” (going by the headline as I can’t read...

Mental Health Discussion & Check-In Thread

Yes there are so many easy jokes around that and in fairness there is a funny/ ironic side to it, given how we’ve been playing. But in all seriousness if that leaflet makes just one single person at the game yesterday make that phone call, or reach out to someone whether friend or stranger...

Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

It’s always been economics. And probably always will be. The powers that be (of whatever political hue) are content to let it become a race issue of “them and us” because it takes the heat off the fact that the inequality is between rich and poor, not between black/brown and white. And there are...

    Mohammed Kudus

There was one instance in the first half where rather than try to make his way around the Liverpool player marking him he quickly crossed the ball into the box. It was a bit overweighted and nothing ultimately came of it, but it showed he can do it and straightaway we had at least a chance of...

Fake news. There’s a white face in that snapshot. Can’t be real.

I think that was the quietest I have ever heard them (if that makes sense!) and probably the worst away support this season so far. Our fans were louder (supportively) than we've been for quite a while, but that would not normally stop away fans, especially when they are winning.

Beef and lamb can be horrible if badly cooked. It’s not the ingredient, it’s the chef. (And Bernard Matthew’s is not the only purveyor of turkeys).

Is that Muani you’re talking about? (sorry haven’t read all the previous posts). For me it was the (soft) penalty shout on Spence near the start of the second half when Spence had made a long run forward and needed someone to pass to and Muani was closest but far, far from busting the gut that...

It was good by our standards but nowhere near what you’d get at somewhere like Anfield. I don’t even like to take that stance as refs are doing a difficult job but Ghod sometimes the crap just needs constant calling out.

***Official Match Thread Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool Sat. 20th Dec. 5:30pm***

If we’d played last Sunday with even a quarter of the energy and intent we had today, today’s result wouldn’t have mattered so much. Appalling referee (and I’m not referring to the red cards) but if that fixture had been at Anfield the noise and pressure on the referee would have been off the...

    Christmas Day

Don’t know how to describe it really. Stronger than chicken but not gamey. Each other own. We’ve had goose a couple of times. It was ok but that might just be because I didn’t cook it very well.
