    You say the teams above us don’t have better squads but at the same time say we’re not capitalising on Liverpool being poor, but they do have better players than us. So that logic doesn’t really make sense.

    They’re still miles better than us. They finished 16 places higher than us in the league last season. Obviously they’re struggling atm and I can’t explain the reason for it but their squad is streets ahead of ours.

    Liverpool, Arsenal, city and Chelsea have better squads than us off the top of my head. It’s deluded to think we have top 4 calibre players. Ange had wretched home form too. We’re just losing in different manners and scenarios now.

    Maybe not crap but we definitely do not have top 4 quality players. We have 6th-12th level players.

    At the very least sometimes it’s about the squad. You can only get so far with crap players.

    Fair play to Sunderland but I don’t think it will last. We do not have the 4th best squad in the league.

    But you need quality at the very least and we don’t have it. Even players that like Porro and Udogie that we thought were passable are not good enough for us anymore. What position in the league do you think this team should finish just out of interest?

    But if you have better players than the other team that often is enough to win you football matches. We’ve not exactly faced scary opposition at home and we’ve won once in the league all season. We don’t really have anyone capable of a bit of magic.

    I agree with that but we do have a lack of quality. Our forwards are dreadful and we don’t have any standout players in any position.

    This feels eerily similar to around 2002 when Arsenal were a dominate team and we were dreadful so I decided to get into NBA, NFL and baseball. Might be doing that again soon.

    He would have been better also. I mentioned Iraola because he reminds me of Poch in some ways. This underdog football only works at Spurs if you win football matches.
