    Purely as a song sure but for whatever reason at Arsenal it seems to rouse them so serves a purpose. CSWY is such a droning miserable song that it always kills the atmosphere prior to kick off and leaves everything flat. Duel of the Fates on the other hand was great, we should have stuck with it

    Not looking at the ball at a corner being a punishable offence seems like it would give an entirely unfair advantage to the attacking team - how are you meant to defend against players if they are behind you out of sight? I hope we are working on ways to exploit that rule from here on

    It seemed like we set up to contain for 30 minutes or so and then from there try to assert ourselves more on them. Whether that was the plan or not i don't know but there seemed to be a shift in our starting positions/lines at around that point and it stayed there for the duration of the game.

    I think people tend to get bogged down in the overarching narrative sometimes when it comes to matches (it's hard not to) - as you say if we go in to this game in a better place the performance would be viewed much more positively

    Because I watched the game. Saudi Sportswashing Machine never really threatened to score, despite the first half dominance, a some long range shots only to show for it- one of their goals was a joke pen decision - easily a deserved draw
