NEW BOOK - HOT SHOT TOTTENHAM SPURS IN THE 80s

Received it yesterday, looks great but I'll put it aside as a Christmas read 😁. Thanks Gareth.

**** OMT Tottenham Hotspur FC v Bodo Glimt ****

Disappointing display, however I think the pitch had a lot to do with it, we never looked comfortable turning or changing pace. They are obviously very accustomed to the vagaries of that surface, we looked like bambi on ice, and they were pumped for this game with being their first CL home game...

And not see the clear shove on Odobert as he's about to head into an open goal.

    Cristian Romero

Trying to make up his atrocious free kick along the back line that gave the ball away, totally lost his head, went chasing lost causes and left a huge hole.

It's been the direction of the travel with American fans in all sports for years. It's highlighted in the ryder Cup because they are getting beat, made harder to swallow as it goes against the narrative that the USA is the powerhouse of the men's fame. You could argue it goes beyond the fans...

OMT Mighty Spurs vs Hungry Wolves

We've been pretty stop start, Liverpool and arsenal have had good starts by most accounts, yet we're not that far behind them. Going into October with one draw and one defeat in all comps, I'll take that.

Never going to happen, and I don't think it would work. Alcohol may fuel, but the entitlement is already there. What really needs to happen is some of the American players to call it out and act on it. A couple of concessions, take the stance of "I'm going to win by my efforts or not at all...

It's like the war on shore and brookline never happened. The uspga choose NY and Bethpage with this in mind, they knew this was the behaviour pattern and hoped it would push the USA over the line. It's worrying for American golf that they feel the need to do that tbh.

I don't think he suffers fools gladly and he has a temper, winning makes that easier to stomach for a lot of people.

Feel for lowry, pressure must have been immense and it looked like he was really struggling there for a minute. Well done.

Quite incredible that we are only four points behind Liverpool. It's going to be an odd league this season.

Can't fault his effort, his belief in his own ability and that he doesn't hide or keep quiet.

    Cristian Romero

Thought he was awful tonight, was it really him that was pressing their keeper and left a huge hole that Bentancur had to fill and concede the corner wolves scored from? And why did he take a goal kick to Vic who was clearly not ready and invite pressure on us. As for that "attempt" at goal...

OMT Mighty Spurs vs Hungry Wolves

Never leave early. From my limited experience I thought the first half atmosphere was good, but it got very rest very early second half. Was awful towards the end.

Queue for the shop was almost as long as the queue for London, but we're in and have our first beers.
