He’s lost me too by now but he didn’t say that.

Saw “Vermiglio” at the cinema today. Beautiful film.

    Mauricio Pochettino

“Perhaps helpfully, Pochettino has been exposed as a merely mortal coach. The halo is gone.” Not over here it isn’t.

    Ange departs

Yes I completely understand that most of the time a non-confrontational bland response is the correct one. Just saying I found his honesty commendable but he probably chose the wrong time to do it.

    Ange departs

I found his remarks around that episode refreshingly honest. Just my opinion. And I admire his honesty in general. But ultimately this discussion on how Ange reacts to people giving him abuse is all a bit pointless. He’ll be judged on results, and I doubt if the hierarchy want another season...

    Ange departs

“Oh fcuk we need to keep Ange in case his temporary replacement wins the Europa!” Only at Spurs..

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

Or is it just manufactured hearsay? Is there any suggestion he’d drop his current position 15 months out from hosting the World Cup?

    Ange departs

We’re probably the 4th worst team in the league so no surprises there.

Contingency planning : we've found our guy

Not much. But it feels like an itch that has to be scratched. Until then his shadow will remain over every manager we have. Not a healthy situation imo but it is what it is.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v The Cottagers ***

I’d be very surprised if we’re not doing the ground work around potential replacements by now.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v The Cottagers ***

I think that’s partly the issue. Levy has gone down the road of a 3-month manager search a couple of times recently and got a lot of ridicule & abuse for it. He won’t sack Ange until a permanent replacement is ready imo. At least I hope that’s the plan.

I think Silva would be my choice out of him, Frank & Iraola.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v The Cottagers ***

Not at all. We’re very inconsistent so we need to lose a couple in the lead up period to give us a better chance of winning the Frankfurt game.

    Cristian Romero

Great post. It can get really ugly when fans attitude towards a player turns which is what we’re seeing now.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v AZ 13.03.2025 **

I think we’ll win and go through. Either way I would say Ange is here until the end of the season as sacking him tomorrow would most probably leave us without a permanent manager for about 3 months for the third time in 5(?) years, subjecting Levy to the same ridicule he’s previously endured and...

    Inzaghi nailed-on then.

    Champions League 24/25

It was a tongue-in-cheek comment. Not sure Enrique would’ve been the best fit for us. He’s been an international manager and a job like PSG where he’s guaranteed to win the league so can concentrate on a few key games to win the big cup might be more his thing.

    Champions League 24/25

Maybe we should’ve listened to Paratici.
