    Insurance cover for an injury whilst “on duty” playing a game for the club will be very different to something happening whilst “off duty” on holiday. My point was that Liverpool are doing a good thing for his family, and I’ll keep it there.

    I think this would be over and above any insurance benefit. My death in service is 8 x annual salary. I’m sure his insurance would be better than that but if the same that’s £58m.
