40 - regular starters in CM? He'd look right at home in the worst of our 90s teams imv

    Savinho

If we're winning & playing well with him in then we're clearly in a position as a team to be able to 'carry' his perceived deficiencies - last season we weren't winning or playing well so I can see why there was a focus on it

Easy money (clicks), while people who should know better hang on every word becoming ever increasingly frustrated

One of the worst midfielders I've had the misfortune to watch in our colours

***Spurs vs Emirates Marketing Project***, PL, 23rd Aug 2025 at Etihad

I guess the obvious move here is to set up how we did v PSG - will be a sterner test. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out

It's a seperate deal that has no baring - to use it the way you are is quite clearly requiring the filling in of blanks as to why their deal went through where ours didn't. If you can't see that then idk what to say

You say we don't know the finer details but then go on with more filling in of the blanks to satisfy a need to point a finger of blame 😂. Saudi Sportswashing Machine bought Elanga from Forest so obviously that means the only reason we haven't been able to buy MGW from them is some wrong doing on our part.

Because there's a lack of evidence usually. Eze transfer as an example (or any transfer for that matter) - beyond knowing that we were in for him and that the deal hasn't happened there is no evidence to say why it has ended the way it has. Maybe we could have done x, y or z differently and...

i hope that there's a list of players from abroad that we feel have a high ceiling and that having missed out on the preferred domestic options we move on to those before settling on a mid level signing

Seems pointed of him to make that post after the reports of being out till the new year are circulated

These people basically live their lives permanently online, and as is often the case the spaces in which people do that become echo chambers - once you're in that environment it's a slippery slope. Mirrors quite closely the way politics is going these days - not drawing a line between people...

I agree that we haven't seen enough from either yet but I'm coming at it from the clubs perspective - we've bought Tel this summer and Odobert last with him being injured for most of the season - so it just doesn't really make sense to me that we'd have decided that this an area we need to be...

Left back depends on Spence I guess - seems light relying on him to cover left and right though. LW I'm not sure - is Savinho interest just a case of a top talent potentially being available so we are interested in an opportunistic way or are we actively looking to strengthen LW? I'm surprised...

    Eberechi Eze

It doesn't even need to be the 22/23 year olds - if we're 'willing' to sign 27 year old Eze then we can presumably go for the more established players on the continent - though maybe with the added risk of adapting to the league the no resale value hits harder there? But still, outside of a few...

    Eberechi Eze

It's a complex market for us to be shopping in - we need/are targeting top level PL proven talent in order to improve the team, which is a small pool of players to be shopping in and by their nature these players will likely attract interest from 'better' clubs/teams - i want to stress that this...

I dunno, I don't buy that their go-to move when faced with losing one of their two strikers for a couple of months was to buy a 70m AM - i think the injury is a red herring. Maybe it kicked them in to gear sooner than they would have otherwise but I suspect in that case that after tonight's EL...
