    VdV would add an option at LB or LCB in a 3. It's all about having options and flexibility. Spence and Udogie as attacking FBs. VdV as a more defeny LB, with a good pass and LCB if packing the midfield. Danso comes into a 3, but we are short then. £15m for Akanji would be a steal

    We are in a tricky market position. Yes, we won a major European trophy and are in the CL. But we also finished one place above the relegation zone. The level of player we want will have other options that are less risky. Luckily there isn't much money around Europe and we're in London.
