    Most of the recruits for police at entry will be white working class boys and they have the lowest attainment in English GCSE as an average in recent times. I think that's the issue rather than specific recruits for police. Giving all new recruits the ability to use the national language...

    The issue is that you are assuming that he was arrested for saying Bacon. When you don't actually know that. He was probably arrested for hurling abuse generally. There's eff all context in the article.
